What is NextUp?

NextUp is a selective, two-day-per-week soccer development program for committed, competitive players who want more from their development. Participation is intended for players who are ready to be challenged in a focused, high-level environment.

Players train with accomplished collegiate and post-collegiate players who have recently traveled the same path they are pursuing, offering technical knowledge and teaching experience.

Players who are not yet ready for NextUp may be directed toward other developmental opportunities that better fit their current needs.

Tuesday

Train

Focused technical + tactical work. Build technique, sharpen decisions, and learn the details.

Thursday

Compete

The competitive component will include 1v1s, 2v2s, 2v1s, 3v2s, and other small-sided competitive play and scrimmages. Apply the week’s work under pressure.

Choose one day or both. Players are welcome to sign up for Tuesdays only or Thursdays only. The full two-day rhythm is where players improve fastest, because what they learn on Tuesday gets tested on Thursday.

Who it’s for

3rd & 4th grade

For young players ready to build a strong technical foundation, confidence on the ball, creativity, and comfort competing in small-sided games.

5th & 6th grade

For developing competitive players ready to sharpen technique, play faster, make better decisions under pressure, and apply their skills in 1v1 and small-sided play.

7th & 8th grade

For serious players preparing for the pace and demands of high school and advanced club soccer through high-intensity training, competition, and game-realistic play.

Selective program: for committed, competitive players who are ready to be challenged.

Players will be grouped by age, ability, and skill level to create the most appropriate and challenging training environment.
